Dabba Townhalls are an exclusive community event where we discuss plans, progress and different aspects of the project to make sure you get to know all that is happening at Dabba.
An open-to-all event for Dabba community members, every Dabba Townhall has a fixed agenda. Our Dabba co-founders along with our Communications Director make a detailed presentation followed by an AMA session.
These events are hosted live and the recordings are then posted on Youtube.

Townhall #12 (21 February, 2025)
Another major Townhall with multiple updates. The event witnessed a huge turnout with many community members joining in. Here’s a quick roundup of key updates shared during the Townhall:
- Season 2 is officially closing at 23:59 UTC, 28 Feb 2025.
- With Season 2 selling out ahead of schedule exceeding expectations, to thank all hotspot owners for their support, Dabba’s announced a genesis token bonus for all Season 1 and Season 2 hotspot owners.
- Dabba is partnering with Animoca Brands Japan to bring the DePIN opportunity to more people in Japan and South Asia.
- Dabba and WeatherXM partnership is going live on 10th March, 2025.
- Dabba is the title sponsor for the first-ever Solana DePIN Summit happening in Bangalore, India.
Townhall #11 (20 February, 2025)
The first Townhall of 2025! This was an important one with major updates. Watch the Dabba leadership dicussing how data consumption is surging, setting new records each month and how Islampur has shown strong momentum with successful deployments and positive engagement from on-ground events.
Townhall #10 (2nd December 2024)
Dabba Townhall #10 unveiled exciting updates, including details of weekly NFT auctions with DeWiCats and the successful field-testing of Dabba Laser Gen 3, which cuts costs by 70% and deploys in minutes.
We discussed how the Islampur rollout with Swami WiFi has boosted network growth, while the revamped Dabba Explorer promises enhanced features like staking tools and gamified quests.

During the Dabba Townhall #9 we delivered some exciting updates! The team’s China trip finalized production and shipment plans for V4 Dabba Lite, and a batch of WeatherXM devices was secured for a DePIN pilot program.

Townhall #6 (27th June, 2024)
Dabba Townhall #06 we have the team sharing some exciting updates! The network now boasts 5k concurrent users and daily consumption of 7TB with 1500 hotspots, and a third city launch is just around the corner.
Key improvements include Explorer design updates and stakeholder-driven tweaks. Enhanced tokenomics ensure regulatory compliance and better rewards for hotspot owners, while TGE plans include a DEX launch and NFTs for ownership proof.
Season 2 promises new partnerships, referral systems, and community quests to onboard members and engage early adopters. Exciting times ahead! 🌟
Townhall #5 (8th April, 2024)
During the Dabba Townhall #05 we showcased some major progress!
🔧 The firmware on all hotspots was upgraded, making the network blockchain-ready for rewards and data tracking. Tools for mapping, inventory, and LCO deployments were launched, laying the foundation for the marketplace.
We also introduced a user app for managing data plans and connected devices. Hotspot numbers increased by 50% since the initial launch, and the new Explorer is live on testnet, with closed beta access coming soon.
We onboarded Jadhav Broadband as our second LCO partner in Maharashtra and Pune, expanded our team to 30 members, and secured two years of financial runway.
We also discussed how compliance measures are underway with updated transaction flows.
Townhall #4 (16th January, 2024)
We had an engaging session with the community, and here’s what was covered:
How Season 1 was a resounding success—selling out ahead of schedule by January instead of April! This milestone highlights the strong demand and excitement around Dabba Lite.
Over the coming weeks, we’re focused on launching the public Explorer, completing network upgrades, activating Season 1 units, and kicking off the token testnet.
Exciting times ahead as we lay the groundwork for the next phase of our journey!
Townhall #3 (7th December, 2023)
During the Townhall #3, we discussed our approach to timelines, recognizing that while ambitious, it needs to be more practical. To ensure a clearer and more cohesive story, our messaging will be simplified and structured better, focusing on the Dabba network and Dabba Lite, with release dates for the Pro and Laser models to come later.
Our immediate focus is finalizing the tokenomics and supporting the demand for the Dabba network. Additionally, 20% of the network has been upgraded with new firmware to improve monitoring, real-time data access, and data throughput. We’re also working with local cable operators (LCO’s) across the country to expand our network deployment and growth efforts.
Townhall #2 (15th October, 2023)
During the Dabba Townhall #3 we shared these crucial updates:
- Sales Update: Sales launched on October 1st, with 110 units sold so far.
- Tokenomics Draft:Draft 2 of the tokenomics is currently under review by our investor’s token teams and external experts. The draft will be available for public review by December 1st, 2023.
- Genesis Launch: Genesis will still begin on November 1st. Tokens will be retroactively awarded once the tokenomics is finalized.
- Blockchain Decision: The blockchain decision will be announced in November.Helium Foundation: We are in talks with the Helium Foundation regarding HIP 64, and we expect this to be finalized by December 1st.
- Dabba Dashboard: The Dabba dashboard will be accessible to those who have purchased devices by next week and will be open to the public one week later.
