Welcome to the Dabba KYC!
The countdown to mainnet is on. To make your hotspot eligible for mainnet rewards and unlock liquidity through the Dabba Genesis Liquidity Program, every hotspot owner needs to complete KYC (Know Your Customer) and onboarding.
KYC & Onboarding Schedule
- KYC & Onboarding starts this Monday, September 8, 09:00 AM (UTC).
- We will begin with Season 1 hotspots first.
- Within 48–72 hours of season 1 onboarding, we’ll roll out onboarding for Season 2 hotspots.
- Onboarding for all other Campaign Purchases will be announced shortly after Season 2 onboarding commences.
To make this simple, we’ve put together a step-by-step guide that walks you through the process no matter where you are in your Dabba journey.
Every Dabba hotspot owner needs to complete KYC. It’s a quick, secure process that verifies your identity and ensures your hotspot is ready for onboarding. Follow the step-by-step guide below to complete your KYC without delays.

Step 1: Get Started
Visit onboarding.dabba.network and click “Get Started.”
Step 2: Verify Your Email
- Enter the same email address you used to purchase your hotspot.
- Click “Request OTP.”
- Check your inbox, copy the OTP, and paste it to verify your email.

Step 3: Connect Your Wallet (Optional at This Stage)
Once your OTP is verified, you’ll be prompted to connect your wallet.
- You can connect now or choose “Skip for now” and return later.
*** We recommend you connect your wallet. To connect your wallet click on Select Wallet.
You get various wallet options to connect. We recommend connecting your phantom or solflare wallet.

Step 4: Begin Verification
You’ll now be directed to the verification page via our partner Sumsub.
Note: At Dabba, security, compliance, and user trust come first. That’s why we’ve partnered with Sumsub, a global leader in identity verification, to power our KYC (Know Your Customer) process. Sumsub is used by 2,000+ companies worldwide, including fintechs, banks, crypto exchanges, and Web3 projects. Some of the biggest names in the industry rely on it to meet strict regulatory requirements.
- Click “Continue.”
- Review the consent notice, check the agreement box, and proceed.
You’ll be asked to consent to the verification process, check, agree and continue to proceed.
Step 5: Email Confirmation (Sumsub)
- Enter your registered email again.
- Click “Send Verification Code.”
- Enter the OTP sent to your email and continue.
Verify your email. Make sure you use the registered email address which you used to purchase your hotspot/s. Once you have filled in the registered email, select send verification code.

Step 6: Identity Verification
- Select your issuing country and document type (Passport, Driver’s License, Aadhaar, etc.).
- Upload a clear, readable photo of your document.
- Click Continue.

Step 7: Liveness Check
- Allow camera access.
- Follow on-screen instructions to complete the liveness test.
Note: If you are on a laptop/desktop you can also use your mobile for liveness check by selecting continue on phone.

**If you don’t want Sumsub to save your data with the Sumsub Id, check not now and click continue.
Step 8: Completion
Once document upload and liveness check are done, your KYC submission is complete:
- Verification will take up to 24 hrs
- You’ll receive a confirmation email once your KYC is approved.
